HI, I’m ReGINA. THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!
I’m fascinated by light and shadows. By colors and composition. The thing I find most precious about photography though is the connection I have with each individual. And even more so, the connection they find to themselves during our sessions.
I was introduced to a dark room for the first time when I was 13, and have been a photographer ever since.In 2015, I realized the importance of safe spaces to express and explore creatively through photography — which led me to focus on portraiture and working more directly with fellow badass women. During our sessions, we create this space together where we are given full permission to be ourselves.
Many people express how calm and free to be themselves they feel during our time together. The way someone feels reflects in a good photograph, in fact, it’s the greatest and most valuable aspect of a photo. The practices I share to create a comfortable environment for photo sessions are a combination of tools I’ve compiled from mentors, facilitating ‘Own Your Power’ group courses, teaching yoga to teens and adults, and from personal experience. I have found much personal healing and growth in exploring self-portraiture and with that, what it means and how it feels to see and welcome all the parts of me, as I am. Photography is medicine for me and I’m honored to share that with you. I look forward to getting to know you and capturing you fully expressed ✨
